Waste Invaders

Waste Invaders is a 2D lateral shoot ‘em up that perfectly imitates the formulas that can be seen in classic arcades such as Gradius, Thunder Force IV or Radiant Silvergun.

Waste Invaders gives you control of the only pilot that can face a mutant invasion that’s out to get rid of the entire human race. Armed with nothing else other than your loyal ship and an enormous amount of ammunition, your job here is to go into the battlefield and get rid of as many enemies as you can before they get rid of you.

Gameplay in Waste Invaders is very simple: your ship can move freely across the screen and it’ll automatically shoot every time you click on it. An enemy projectile can get rid of your defense strategies, so it’s very important to avoid the impact because your lives are very limited and if you reach zero your adventure will come to an end. If you get rid of your enemies you’ll get special power ups that’ll help you increase your fire power.

Although the game is pretty polished and the visuals are great too, if there’s a high number of enemies you might experience a pretty significant frame decrease. Nevertheless, the game is super fun and enjoyable.
